MHC I Streptamer^® can be used to detect and isolate antigen-specific T-cells by fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) or magnet assisted cell sorting. For FACS applications, Strep-Tactin coupled to Phycoerythrin (PE) or Allophycocyanin (APC) is available, whereas for magnetic cell separation Strep-Tactin^® Magnetic Nanobeads are offered. Note, that the same Streptamer^® MHC class I antigen (MHC I -Strep) can be used with either a fluorescent Strep-Tactin conjugate or with Strep-Tactin magnetic beads.
All reagents can be supplied in clinical grade quality (i.e. reagent quality accepted by PEI and MRCA for clinical trials in Germany and UK, respectively).
